I am a multi media artist working initially with photography and print. Since graduating from the University of Central England in 1999 with a BA hons in ‘Visual Communication’ I have worked extensively as a freelance photographer and designer. In 2005 I moved to North Pembrokeshire with my partner who grew up here. It's where we met, returned to, made roots and now raise our children.
I live in Dinas, a small village on the edge of ‘Dinas Island’, a peninsula partially detached from the mainland by a valley cut by glacial meltwater from the neighbouring Preseli hills. I live at the foot of the ‘island’. Within walking distance and to the west of the island is Pwllgwaelod, a sheltered cove. To the east, Cwm Yr Eglwys, with its remains of St Brynach’s church destroyed by a raging storm in 1850. The two coves in constant flux between calm and sheltered / exposed and battered. The Preseli mountains standing guard above.
I live with the feeling of being poised between these natural elements - immersed.
